Dennis is independent in all aspects of his life, including his farm duties, like painting the pipe fencing and tending to his cattle and cats.

Dennis visits Toronoto Canada with his friend Jack, who is also vision impaired, to speak at a Leadership Conference by Fighting Blindness Canada.
